Trying to text with broken hands is no fun as we all know. However I *may* have found an answer.

I did a lot of research, read a lot of reviews and got myself a Galaxy S 1900 on contract. It's very much like an iPhone but with more functionality and a huge 4" screen. It also has a fantastic touch screen keyboard with a function called Swype meaning you don't have to tap letters/words on screen, you simply swipe your finger across the keyboard and the software (very accurately) predicts the word you're trying to enter.

I've had mine for a few weeks now and I'm very, very happy with it. I thought my texting days were over but now I can easily text, write messages, write to online forums etc with relative ease. I thought I'd pass it on as a potential aid.

Thanks Maireed, yes, it can be difficult at times to text. I find that my hands ache even if they are not swollen at the time. A clever device by the sound of it. Will certainly look at it, hoping you are doing ok at the moment xSmile
